Hey Everyone,

I'm already planning my next Saberforge purchase and I'd like to know which blade color you guys would suggest... Which colors do you think are the best and brightest?

It really all depends on your preference. My views of the jedi order and sith order really helped. If you're a jedi, Green, Blue or white would be a good bet. If you're sith, Red, Orange or Blood Orange might call out to you. If you're grey jedi, like I am, you'll probably like something more unconventional like Yellow or Purple.

It also depends on what hilt you're looking at

Thanks! Yeah I lean more towards Jedi and Gray Jedi but I haven't made my mind up on a hilt yet. I'm anxiously/excitedly looking forward to the upcoming hilt releases.

Yea that's why i chose Yellow. Not sure how good different colors would look on the new hilts due to not many pictures being released.

What hilt are you planning on buying? Hard to decide on a blade color without a hilt.

If you want the technical answer to the brightness question, the ones that normally appear the brightest are green/yellow. The wavelength of light that human eyes are most sensitive to is around 550nm. That is right about when green starts looking yellow. I think about 580nm is when it's actually yellow.

So even if it's not technically the brightest color, green is probably gonna look the brightest.
I suppose the actual brightest blade would be white.

Since we're talking about brightness and such, I just want to throw in that red gives an awesome effect in the dark. You can see it, yet it doesn't light up the room! A good color choice if you have the right hilt.

Someone mentioned getting led heads with quick connects, anyone know the cost if this is an option?
If it is I'll collect various led head colours for swapping out.

I really like the Epoch but If I were to buy a future release I'm leaning towards the "Renegade" or "Bane..

I feel like Epochs are meant to be blue! Blue looks plenty bright, as well. But seriously. If you get an epoch with standard finish, I think blue looks the best. =]

Yeah, I mean, it looks storm troopery and everything, it's just not my thing.

I'm assuming that's your photo of the white epoch but my phone won't load the image
