So, in case you aren't on Saberforge's facebook page often, they just showed off the new Avenger based on Obi Wan's TPM hilt coming out soon. I think it would have made more sense if he used Qui Gon's lightsaber in AOTC instead of building an exact replica of his old saber, but it was a very good design either way!

You'd think so, but his Episode 2 saber has a couple differences, plus if he somehow went down to retrieve his saber, you'd think he'd come across Maul's body. His lightsaber isn't actually visible either during the ending, as he's wearing his cloak for the entirety of it. He used Qui Gon's for about a year before he created his second lighsaber.
