Is it the same way to change the battery on a Champion as it is on a Warrior?

I may be wrong here, but I believe the Champion level sabers are the first level where in-hilt charging comes in. So, until that will no longer hold a charge you should not have to worry about changing them.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

I'm getting my fallen saturday. I don't want to wait for a full charge to play with it. Plus I have tons of those batteries from vaping.

It is not recommended to open your champion hilt! Only if you want to make modifications! The hilt comes with an in-hilt 3400mah recharge upgrade, with smart charger, and kill key. You plug your saber on the wall just like you plug your cell phone!

Sorry mate! If you wanted to use batteries you should have chose the warrior tier!

What I love about champions is that I don't have to open my saber, like, never! Less danger to break anything!

Yes, Champions come with in hilt recharge. Waiting for it to charge isn't so bad. I definitely think it's easier than replacing the battery, assuming you already have the same kind of battery to switch it out with. Your vaping batteries are probably not an appropriate replacement.

I know it sucks but my advice is to just let it charge.

Mine charge really fast... I was expecting it to take a few hours, but in reality it only takes 1 - 2 hours at the most.

Not recommended! I would at least send it back to SF to get a battery change! Let the professionals handle this, it's safer! Yes you might pay for it, but at least you won't destroy your electronics.

Yes but European customer have deal with shipment and Tax , a battery is a battery , 3.7V or 7.4V and a specific dimension and capacity so we have to wire + and -
The problem is to reach easily the battery in hilt and remove it.

Yes you just remove the pommel and slide the speaker and battery pack out.. carefully. At least I assume so for sf sabers; I haven't had this issue at all yet but with other saber shops it's easy to do this.

Right . As a European customer I agree. The battery replacement should be easy.
But SF hilts are really nice and generally thin compared to other. So beauty has a cost. Hope my battery lives long. :) Otherwise a painful RMA is expecting me.

I think most 18650s run at least 500 cycles but probably many more. It should last a while.

Hi. Now I'm not saying to try this without first checking in with the Saberforge crew. The sound speaker and battery pack is held in place by a MPS clip. Can be carefully removed by using small round (cone) needle nose or jewelry pliers. Place tips into the two holes and squeeze together to make ring smaller and remove. Contents should easily come out. I would imagine that SF does the same thing to replace batteries and whatnot. Please double check first and don't void your warranty. :)
