TOPIC: Solo's Hold Ahsoka Shien and Shoto

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've been on the forum. Life is busy, but wanted to share my new Ahsoka sabers that I assembled and wired up. The Shien (larger) uses a Tri-cree GGW and CrystalFocus soundboard, while the Shoto uses a Tri-cree GRW and Prizm. Both have Goth3D chassis' and include a recharge port, power and aux switches. Blade plugs were a custom run and really complete the look of the saber.

Only custom items I did were to swap out the silver pins for brass Graflex pins, and I replaced the silver control box circuit with an ESB circuit board (cut to the appropriate size)

Wonderful craftsmanship from Solo, these were a lot of fun to build. I may redo the internals for the Shien as I installed the CF the wrong way which makes it a pain to get the SD card out. But then again, the fonts and colours are already set .

Nice install to a nice pair of Ahsoka's. Will these be paired to a new Cosplay in the works?

On a related note, I liked the Ahsoka look so much that I ordered a Phoenix some time ago. I haven't posted on it as I am having some custom work done it as we speak; something similar was posted on this forum that I'm borrowing from. The expectation is that this will be the Saber ic3cold reaches for in the morning when he goes out the door to do his part in the universe, probably with Candence depending on the amount of balancing required in the Universe

Is that a Black Chrome treatment accented with matte black?

I'm not 100% on what was done to the black, but I believe a clear coat was added to give it a bit of a shine.

Yup. I had originally requested it to be nickel plated, but went with this option. Polish + Clear coating. Can't wait to get it back
