Hi all! I just wanted to share a quick picture I took of my saber collection. Here they are from left to right:
SF Epoch, Hero Tier, 12w+ BB/RR
SF Epoch, Champion Tier with quick connects, several LED modules
VV Ardent Elite, RGB
VV Acolyte, Suncrusher Red
SF Descent, Hero Tier, 12w+ RGBA
SF Monarch, Hero Tier, 12w+ RGBA

I did some additional weathering/painting on most of these sabers. All of the SF ones have 2w bass speaker.

May the force be.... don't do that.. not on the rug, man

I took down the weathering in several places then added some in others (nooks, crannies and the like). Here is a shot I took of its current state:

When you get your Acolyte, if the weathering isn't exactly to your liking you can always remove some with an SOS pad or very fine grit sandpaper and then touch it up with a paint color of your choosing. Water-based colors are fine for adding color to grooves, but you may want to go with an enamel or something like automotive paint diluted down for added surface grime.

Of course it may arrive an be perfect as is! Congrats on your choice, the Acolyte is great.

Execute66 Offline Platinum Member Posts: 1127 Thank you received: 505	Beautiful job! I generally prefer my hilts to be metal clean. But VV's weathering looks very natural at the "right" intensity. I searched around before ordering. "Heavy" on the Acolyte is too much for my taste. "Light" does not look worth weathering. "Medium" looks right to me - battled but yet maintained by the Sith. Your current weathering looks like a "Medium" by VV. Sweet!
