Everything is here, and ready to rock, be working on the LS6 hero here, all the parts are here, I cleaned up my work table and got everything ready.

I plan on using the heat sink solution TcSS, Specs are as follows, Goth-3d crystal reveal (gullwing), Prizm 5.1, 18650 tcss 10amp high drain. 24mm hi bass speaker, rumble motor, 1.3mm RCP, on/off switch. I decided to go with Lime/green/Deep red Lux( I did have to drill a center hole, glad I have a drill press) If I don't like the Deep Red FOC I'll mix it to yellow. I'm using my normal 30awg wire for the build, on quick connect will be at the led, to make it easy to change if I don't like the color mix.

For the gap in the Wings I'm planning on making a cover to fit inside the reveal, area to hide shine through when not desired, and the activation box I'm still not sure how to make the cover lock a little tighter, but I will. anyway, some starting picts.

Lovely! Can't wait to see how it turns out!

I'm waiting on the V2 master chassis from Rick. I want the CC reveal up in the grenade. Although I've been toying with making a chassis from copper as well.....

I got it done, but I'm having a issue that I need to tinker with, the way the PCB that comes with switches is made when you wire the prizm to those switches, you end up with the very tiny amount of voltage feeding from the prizm to switchboard, so your switch leds are dimly lit, and don't work when the prizm is on...I may have to put my own leds in...not sure yet

you using the PCB it came with?

Paul Tatum has a custom one that should wire up properly.

if you are a member of the Thin Neck Saber Fan group on FB he has a post in there. There's also a thread on the RPF.

$20 for the PCB plus shipping comes with everything.

Paul Tatum’s kit is really nice....it comes with red & green translucent arrows too. I like that better than the clear arrows that come with the hilt.

Okay I'm as done as I will be with it, until I feel like opening it back up to run the arrow led wires(I will sooner or later), I'm glad I got the switch solution, the red and green windows are nice.
I did do some work to seal the crack using some 1.5mm rods I glued them to a door and then spent hours filing it down until it was flush with the other door. Now you have to open to see the crystal reveal shine.
My hero lower section had a bubble or 2 in the chrome and I tried to smooth them made it worse, hopefully once people decide on V2 I can buy the hero segment from them or trade for my UN-used V2.
Anyway picts.

Where do you get the led from? I've been looking for a good place to get inexpensive RGB leds.

Which LED? the main LED is a custom 3-up Luxeon Green/Lime/Deep RED, I ordered from LED supply. The 5mm chamber led is green from a kit I got off amazon, the smd leds on the switch came with the switch.

Nice job man, looks sweet! That’s a great idea for eliminating the shine thru on the gullwing doors—-thanks for sharing.

After looking at the static hero piece of the kit, a idea formed...and now I have the perfect blade plug for this saber. it really finishes the aesthetics of the saber.
