This has been a while in the making, I received the CC from Rudy Pando just within the last two weeks and finally set aside the time to get everything installed. This was my first MK1 install and it certainly wasn't very easy. everything is tight and short on available space requiring exceptionally clean wiring runs and really nothing in the way of extra space. I can't stress how well engineered the chassis is. Dmitry knocked this one out of the park.the tolerances are amazingly tight. Taken all together, the over all design and engineering of everything is just fantastic.
The MK1 is simply a gorgeous hilt in and of itself, even just as a static display piece. It has such wonderful weight, and faithfully reproduces Obi-Wan's ANH hilt with near perfect levels of accuracy. Add in Rudy's Crystal chamber and you have a work of art.
This build had its challenges, requiring me to rethink my wiring a few times for tighter runs and to maximize the limited space available. but the final product is was so worth the effort involved.
Thank you to Roman, Rudy, and Dmitry for the wonderfully detailed and solid parts that went into making this saber. We are truly blessed to have such passionate and dedicated people creating these for us. My hat goes off to you.
