@Gorobulus, sorry I need to rephrase. Yoda's newer chassis is like maybe $300-500, not entirely sure because I've never seen it for sale myself haha. But Yoda made a saber out of the vintage graflex with his chassis and sold it on eBay for $3200. Doesn't cost $3200 to convert haha.

I think you'll see a LOT of the graflex 2.0 (or similar) floating around soon. A lot of other saber companies also share the same supplier in China and they came in agreement that it was okay for everyone to sell the same hilt. I think Randy and Parks are the only ones selling them as empties. Again, something I THINK I read...so I can't confirm.

Damn, you ALL are getting the Graflex before me! :angry: I've gotta wait till late February or early March. I ordered from Parks, should've gone with Korbanth! I just couldn't find a store or something I didn't know you had to email him. Oh well, it happens...

No. I won't be doing the install myself. Shameem is doing it.
I heard the same about the Sids. It's due to the size obviously, everything is crammed in there. The hilt is pretty heavy empty too. It requires some surface finishing before an install is even considered though. Cast steel has some imperfections so some buffing/polishing is needed.

Oh yea, I forgot that hilt was made of steel. I bet it'll look super nice after some buffing/polishing. Take some before and after pics!

Actually just discovered the FX sabers forum thread where he is selling them and apparently still has some (originally got his email from Shameem's video review). Sending PayPal now fingers crossed

Thanks. I actually just messaged him on whim... I didn't really expect him to have anymore. He replied very quickly with news of having just one left. So I had to grab it :)

Is that configured for button activation and 180 degree Aux or is it via the switch box?

It turned out great! Can't wait for mine to come in sometime in February. Korbanth said he had 100 coming in at the beginning of the month and the final 100 around the 18th, but I'm not sure which batch my order is in.

I also read a funny update about the batch of sabers for those who ordered at the beginning of January; they were shipped to Jeff Parks instead of him, and it was cheaper and quicker for him just to fly to Parks, label and take the sabers to the local post office instead of shipping them to himself.

Thank you! The blade retention screw is the red button above the switch box. This is configured for button activation below the bunny ears. I have seen maybe 1 so far that uses the switch box as the activation. I believe that option requires more parts.
