I posted a photo of this in an earlier post but I thought I would show a few pics of my own. I weathered the knobs with black paint and then light sanded them. I also wrapped it in linen that I dyed first with coffee, than I gave it a quick dunk in both brown and black dye. I think it looks good but I think I will change it out for leather soon wrapped in the same spots. I quickly made an amethyst crystal blade plug. I am not sure if I like this and will probably replace it eventually. This saber is very heavy and I like it a lot. I am going to put sound into sometime in the next couple of months. I plan on making a custom stand for it like I did for the Consular. Just wanted to know what you guys thought.

This is a very impressive job I must say. I've never really been into the Sith lightsaber styles exactly, but man, you captured it perfectly here. It's downright scary looking.

I know this was mentioned before, but I can't help but think how true it is... Every time I look at this hilt I'm immediately transported back to Korriban from KOTOR.

Now, stop reading this and get back to scouring the galaxy of Jedi already!

I just bought one of ALWs off eBay (a beautiful green one) which I am looking forward to receiving. Please keep us posted on the sound upgrade (if you go ahead) as well as the stand.

I also built a stand to put it on using my laser at work. Welded it together and called it good. I might paint it, or maybe just let it rust...
