Going to be doing a force sensitive warrior for comic con. I'll basically look like a knight in armor mixed with the slightest of robes. I want to make a saber that is basically a sword that lights up around the edges acting as the plasma. Same stuff as a light saber. Would something like that exist in the SW universe? The image attached is what I am thinking.

Well, as far as Star Wars goes, I'm pretty sure this is something plausible. You would need small plasma emitters all around the blade to create such a thing but yeah, I'm pretty sure it's totally doable. Please share pictures of your Cosplay once you are done with it my friend, it sounds very interesting
