The Ka'tano is based solely off of Ahsoka's hilt, and the Pheonix is loosely inspired by it, and other SF models, mixing some of their best design elements into one hilt. Also, how does the 12W+ appear to the eye? Noticeably brighter, or just a more even illumination? I have two 12W+ LED sabers coming sometime hopefully soon and can't wait to see them in person.

More even distribution and less flare at the bottom. No difference in brightness.
If you look into it, you can see that the dies are grouped a lot tighter together than compared to the 12w if you needed a visual confirmation of the difference. Gimme a few minutes. I'll upload some pics comparing my 12w+ Amber and 12w Red

Posts: 939 Thank you received: 293	The grouping in the Amber was really difficult to capture but you still get an obvious idea of the difference. To note: the grouping of the amber is not off center. I was tilting the module to try to get a good picture but I kept getting a glare from a lamp and the lens.

I have a Prodigal Son 12w+ Green along with a 12w+ Light Blue Redeemer (for my brother) in transit. AND a 12w+ Purple Exalted (black grenade) just had its shipping label made. Rubs hands in in excitement and lets out a maniacal laugh
