TOPIC: 12 watts of Prodigal Son Green Goodness

PS arrived and it is super sweet. I had been looking for this Saber to complete my collection of Luke's Sabers. I found a version on ebay for what I thought was a reasonable price, but it had no electronics. Then I stumbled onto the SaberForge home page and was blown away by the sabers here. And low and behold a working ROTJ version. What could be better.

Now my cosplay outfit is almost complete (just need to do some sizing alterations to the shirt). Some pics are attached

The 12w green is impressive and I like the weight and feel of the PS. I went with a 37in blade but sort of wished I had gone shorter. I found the speaker to be a bit loose at the bottom of the hilt, but some adjustments to the retention screw seems to have solved that. Next looking to solve the activation sliding with some friction tape. There is a useful thread here on the forum which is great

Now that I have my PS I am really looking forward to receiving my Bastion order + Phoenix order. Sigh, waiting is the hardest part

You know, I've only really ever wanted to own the non-canon sabers. But your post has me sorely tempted to break that train of thought. I think your pictures really sell the saber. Nicely done, sir!

This saber has always been on my "gotta have" list, and presentations like this just cement that feeling. Looks great! Congrats!

Congrats on a great saber and great costume ic3cold! Very jealous that you have my favorite hilt but very happy for you. Now that "your skills are complete" so to speak, you get to practice more lessons in patience waiting for not 1 but 2 more sabers. Go have some fun trying spins and swinging it around.
