Got this saber in the mail today and I could not be happier. This thing is a monster. I have pretty big hands and I have no problem two handing this saber. The purple LED out of the box was rich and vibrant. The hilt itself is very beefy, but a good beefy lol. There is so much detail in this saber, it takes a while to take in all the intricacies. I also purchased a coupler with the order. I attached the Relic with my Gladiator and they seemed to fo together well. There werent many sharp spots on the hilt, which was nice. I took out the retension screws and replaced them with knurled thumb screws. This makes it MUCH easier to take the blades on and off. I went with the crimson sound and I am glad that I did. It truely feels like a sith or rouge jedi saber. The charge was quick, about 3 hours. The saber also fits well on my LED stand. Now for some pics.

Beautiful! With that extension, it REALLY looks like a broadsaber!

Congrats on your new arrival my friend. I am going to venture a guess, it was well worth the wait.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

Definently worth the wait. Fells like a complete trifecta. Thin-neck, crystal saber, and cross guard. So many combination and ways of combining them. My favorite is the relic and gladiator combo. 4 blades of pure sithness.

Thinking about taking off the claws and covertech nob. Just because it will make it a better dueler.

Great looking saber! Love the extension... gives it that added goodness :P I hear ya on the retention screws - they are quite cumbersome for this hilt. And there are like 6 throughout the hilt, so at first sight you have to make sure that you aren't unscrewing the wrong ones :silly: Congrats man!

Thumb screws are honestly the way to go. About 15 seconds to take out the blade plugs and put the blades in. I use them on all my sabers now.

Did you ever take the claws off? Wanted to know if it messed with the stability of the hilt at all or if it felt the same without them . I ordered this and am driven mad with the wait already , but know it will be worth it !

First off, gorgeous saber you have here (long overdue, I know). Second, this thing of beauty:

Immediately reminded me of this:

Let me just say: I want!!

I wanna build one just to terrify my friends. It's probably so unwieldy. I'd probably cut myself in half before getting a hit in. I don't care. I want it.

Going to make a couple assumptions here to estimate... First is that SF drives the 12W+ main blade at full, so there should be 4A dedicated to that. Then, for color brightness balancing, they run the 6W+ quillions at half (they may go full, not sure). That means 6A consumption at best, 8A consumption if the quillions are run at full. The battery SF uses has a capacity of 3400mAh. That means the constant runtime could range between 34 and 26 minutes depending on what current SF is using to drive the LEDs, not even accounting for a vibration motor and speaker power.
