Just thought I'd throw up a fun little vid of me doing some spins with my converted Hasbro Mace. I really like how my phone camera caught the look of the blade.
Anyways, here it is:

Yeah, even if it isn't exactly the most ergonomic weapon, it's really REALLY bright. :P
The way the conversion was done, there are two switches - the main one and the auxiliary one. Both are under a single rectangular plate, and hitting both at once for even a second turns the saber off. That's pretty easy to do, considering how I hold it. Hit the plate anywhere near the middle and off goes the saber. I'm a much bigger fan of the single switch setup: when it's on, tap the button for auxiliary sound effects, hold to power down.

I can't look at the video since I'm at work but what board are you using in it? Depending on the board, you may be able to adjust how long you have to hold the power button before it turns off. If you can do that, it would make it less likely that you'd turn it off by accident.

I think it's a NBv2.
EDIT: Checked the thread I bought it off of on IRA. NBv2 soundboard.
