I'll probably wait for the manual to release before updating the first post.

Short version is NBv4 closes the gap between NBv3 and Spark 2. Motion sensing should be about on-par now.

Spark still has more effects (lockup, blaster block, and variable swing speed), but NB's got RGB color-mixing (with a PEX) and Neo-Pixel support.

Can also say without hesitation that NB specs support 12W+ LEDs.
