I have some questions about electronics options:
I saw that the PnP Champion kits have a vibration unit installed, but unfortunately does not have some other key features I want. My wishlist for a DIY project is to have, Vibration On the go mute Changeable soundfont Adjustable flicker settings. I have not seen vibration listed as a feature on anything but the ASP champion electronics. Is there any other units that have that capability? Thank you!! |

I'm not aware of any other plug-in-play kit that also features a rumble motor (which is a separate entity from the soundboard). A separate rumble motor can be hooked up to other soundboards however.
The Sabercore 2.0 (what's in SF Champion sabers and kits) does feature the on the go muting and adjustable flicker setting you are looking for. And if you don't mind waiting, the 3.0 board that's in the works (no ETA currently) will have support for swappable soundfonts. Otherwise, for what you want you'll have to get a soundboard from another maker (like Plecter Labs or Naigon's Electronic Creations) and hook up a rumble motor yourself. |

I'm not sure I'm comfortable enough for a total diy build, so it seems like the sabercore 3.0 is exactly what I want. And now the waiting... Cheers! |
