Hey guys Just curious if anyone has tried taking an already assembled ASP PnP Champion kit and taking out the Sabercore 2.0 Board and installing a Nano Biscut? The cards look almost identical with exception of the SD slot. I feel like it would be a simple "Un solder- Re solder" type thing. Am I right or way off?Any tips? Pointers? experience?

An NBv3 is a pretty common upgrade but it is also usually done along with an LED change to Tri-Cree with two dice on main channel and third die on the FOC pad.
It's not as simple as unsolder then resolder. The wiring between the two boards is different and requires a full rebuild. |

I'll be writing one up in the next week or two. I have NBv3s, and pico crumbles on their way along with some hilts. Plus a stock of Sabercore 2.0 and Spark2 boards.
My plan was to get three or four tutorials done in the next month or so. |
