I'm working on putting my SF prodigal son V2 back together, when I pull my kill key I get the message "Saber Configuration" and nothing else will works, no ignition button inputs, nothing., I've double checked soldering connections, I've tried the SD that was working pre disassembly, and tried several other saber back ups, a stock Spark Color 2 fresh set up and a new card, I've charged it, I don't know if anyone has run across this, but thought I'd ask. any insight would be awesome.

Hmm. That's the in-hilt editor program, which is supposed to be activated by holding the Aux button while the saber boots. No idea what could be causing that, if the Aux button isn't being engaged while you pull the kill key.

Your switches are making contact with something bridging them
Like the chassis or even body. |

Thanks guys, great call
 and what it turned out to be was a strand of wire from the original hero soldering that I had de-soldered made its way over to the other side of the contact, when I say it was like a gnats butt hair, it was, I had to get out my helping hands with the big magnifier to even see it. everything is up and running, final pictures will come once the TGs clamp comes in and I can weather it up a bit to match.

Had almost the exact same thing happen to me recently. Spent a good hour going over everything with a fine tooth comb, decided to just clean the board and viola, damn ear microscopic piece of something was bridging a gap.
