I am thinking of buying an elite style saber, hilt only. I own a Champion tier Sentinel. Does anyone know if you can swap the electronics from an apprentice hilt into an elite hilt?

Thanks!

First note that if your saber is under a year old, opening it up and mucking about with the electronics will void the warranty.

SF uses the same electronics in each line of hilts. You may or may not need to lengthen the wires though to reach through a longer hilt. What you'd need to do is disconnect all of the wires, transplant the electronics, and re-wire it. Unless you're using a set of Plug N' Play electronics, this will require skill with electrical soldering.

It's a few years old so I am good there. Solder/wiring is what I do at work, so shouldn't be an issue. I just didn't want to go pulling it apart if it wouldn't work.

Thanks for the reply!
