4 year (almost to the day) ancient (relatively) Saberforge Sinister Prophecy. Notable differences are the plug in the pommel and the cover over the screws retaining view hole section to the grip. This was likely the 2nd blade done by Phil in purple. Cannot say I know that, he likely would but the conversation about doing purple was "I did one for a guy before." so it makes me think it was the 2nd. There was no ordering color mixes in any sort of automated system at that time. But to tell the truth I think in those days he had conversations about almost every one he made with the orderer. If I remember, it's 2 2 1/2w led's but I don't actually remember that. The soundboard is a Novasound 2.5.

Wow talk about a beautiful light saber.
Might seem ancient but still great look to it. And as for the little review I wish there was more communication between customers and saberforge techs ( obviously Phil can't with the growing size of the company and demand). It would add so much to the overall sales experience for so many people I think |

Thanks Luno. This is the saber that the most of my "inner self" is invested into. It feels the most right when I wield it. And I did almost literally "dismantle" a guy with it at full speed. He was quite unprepared for what that actually meant. Nobody's equipment was harmed but he was ready to run away. He said "lets try a fight" and this was no star wars weekend for the kiddies.
So far as I am "coming back" to Saberforge I have found them still well balancing customer contact. I have had prompt direct responses to every inquiry. It's been obvious that not every reply comes from the same person but they are still informative and answer more than my original questions. When a customer is looking at placing an order for anywhere from a couple hundred bucks to over a grand, all sight unseen for work that will take months to complete and only then will the customer know what they bought it is important to have that customer service front end. So far they managed to bring me back up to speed on their stuff in about 5 e-mails and I've already sent them half of what will be a pretty big 2 saber order (or 3 since one is likely going to be a staff.) |

well can't wait to see those too then! i have a staff ( 2 sabers and a coupler ) on the way as well
guess we will have to compare notes when the fateful day arrives! i have to agree that saber forge is usually really good with their customer support, and answering any and all questions. glad you came back! (dismantling sounds fun lol) |

I just ordered this Saber on the 2nd. Just wanted to say thanks. I was wondering what the purple would look like as I got a Hero Red/Deep blue. Also good to hear it's a good fighting saber

You'll enjoy this Saber, I'm sure of it. 6Red+6Deep Blue will give you a 12indigo more than it would purple which ordinarily results from 6medium blue as the other half. |

When I ordered my Hero Gladius, my color options were limited, I didn't have color shade choices, I could have blue, not atric, medium or dark, just blue.
That said, I got blue and red, and was told my 3rd color would be purple. (Which I call violent) |

My comment to  , was specific to my Custom hero Monarch. I can only go off with what I have been advised and that was:1. Royal Blue + Red = Indigo 2. Medium Blue + Red = Purple 3. Light Blue + Red = Pink I went with 2. cos I've got Indigo on another hilt and wanted to avoid duplicating it. I don't doubt that through colour perception Indigo/Purple/Violet/Pink can be interpreted differently by different people. Am simply comparing by name reference only and not the colour associated with that name. e.g. Indigo to me may equal Purple to you etc. |

The Sinister Prophecy always was (and still is...) one of my favorite sabers. The angled emitter, the angled pommel, the windows, the dual tone; EVERYTHING on this saber is appealing. Many many times I held back from buying one by fear of being not as satisfied with it is I expected I would, only god knows why...
Anyway, awesome saber my friend. Congratulations on your purchase and on your review !

I see your question regarding the SP socket Depth was answered on another Thread. Were you able to successfully correct the ordered length? Noted about Josh. I don't use Fb and without an account am unaware of its usage, correspondence by email it is. Getting at?

Sorry, hadn't checked in here for a while. That is a very old SP, I had to custom up a plug for it. The plug I use is the longer one from Saberforge, which ends right between the 2 windows, then another approx 1.25" piece super glued to it. You never see the joint but it's there. I donno what the current ones use and if the placement of the windows is the same. I hope (but I don't think it's going to work) that I can use ASP innerds to bring the electronics up to current specs. Looks like the current sabers are slightly smaller internal diam. which makes the battery pack rattle more but could be handled by padding. Also the ASP battery pack is about 1.2 inch longer than this saber can handle from switch to the retaining pin for the ed cap. (This saber predates the screw on caps.) |
