Thanks, my goal is to fill the cabinet. Everything with a placard I've planned/waiting for. One of my life long dreams was to have a lightsaber collection and I now have a job that can support my particular proclivities.

Please help, I've had my saber for almost a week now and have not been motivated enough to post a review. But I have oh so many pictures.
And if I posted the review, I'd almost certainly push the reply count in the Venomous Fury section over 100! How am I not doing that? It's a mystery to me. |

Does the prospect of doing a review seem too daunting, or are you just having so much fun with that gorgeous saber that you just cannot find the time to write one? Just curious?

I think it's more the latter. I'm having too much fun! However, it doesn't help that I can only embed two images from elsewhere per post. I'm not sure what to do- only post two images, reply in a bunch more posts in my thread, with two images each, or use the direct upload feature that seems to wreak havoc with any images I upload? Besides that, I should be able to write one, but you can't have a review without pictures! Kered wrote:

That's Medium Blue, though I took the pictures on my iPhone camera and have not seen the true color come through once. EDIT: Which isn't to say I don't love the color to death. It feels like the color from the cloud city duel in Empire Strikes Back. Though the effect is much different in person, there's no white core unless you look at the base where the color actually does seem to get lighter because it's so #%$& bright. |

This so much. Member list doesn't allow searching by type, but I've been meaning to get in touch with an Admin about loosening up some of the post restrictions. Not sure if the two-link limit was added after Spamageddon or if it's always been in place, but it's a pain trying to write a post with lots of images when only two outside links are allowed and the board downscales any image I upload. |

I'm pretty sure it was post spam, which is why I found it confusing, since the the threat had passed. I'm 90% sure I had made posts with more than 2 links/embedded images in the themed saber thread before Spamageddon. But I'm not sure there are really any admins to contact. Aletani, maybe?

Is there a link limit? I was able to use 3 pics in a recent post. 1 was the micro dean clips reference for Kouri, and the other 2 were pics of Hake's Juggernaut.
Im not saying anyone else isn't having problems using multiple pictures, I just haven't run into a problem using more than 2 yet, and I highly doubt I was given some sort of special privileges. EDIT: just noticed that I upload to the board instead of linking to them elsewhere. Ignore me. |

The issue also applies with ANY url'ing.
Ex: I can post 2 embedded img tags. Or 1 img and 1 url. It's 2 external links per post. |
