I buffed the body shiny and ground down sharp edges that were uncomfortable, also cut these slots in the emitter for light. Has anyone done any customization to an Ares (crystal or regular, mine is regular)??

I cut the slots with a dremel cutting wheel and eyeballed it, made sharpie marks to tell me where I should stop. I have a bit of metalworking experience
