About a month ago I hit my Consular with some Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish, and absolutely loved the results. Then I polished up the ASP Blade Plug 05 that I was using with it. Today I just got in my TSL tsuba, and the finish was UGLY and DULL. Now it's SHINY and AWESOME!

Just need to get a longer 05 plug so it can reach the retention screw with the tsuba on lol (in the pic it's just sitting in there).

12w Amber (old Cree XB-D), Warrior tier. I'm ready to duel (and keep my fingers)!

It does, doesn't it? Even the polish gave the Consular itself a bit of extra "wow" factor.

Originally, I felt pretty "meh" about the Consular. I got as my first SF purchase in Aug 2015 with the intention of picking up a second one later to make a staff. But then SF went and changed to the brighter Cree XQ-E LEDs and I didn't want lopsided blade brightness. So it kind of just sat in a corner for a while until I got my ASP in Jan with a saber stand. After taking it out and handling it a bit it started to grow on me.

Probably the best Consular-Custom upgrade I've seen. Most Consular I've seen plays it safe.. hehehe
At last, we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last, we will have revenge.

Thanks guys!

Greatest thing about the tsuba is that it actually secures to the blade, not the saber, so you can use it on any flat-top emitter!
