I know this is a little off topic, but where did you get that death star? The one under the left side of the yoda painting. To me it seems shiny, metallic, and best of all: Floating. I'd love to find one of my own!
Fantastic collection though, love the stand. The lights look just bright enough to show off the beauty of that PS and still maintain dramatic effect. |

Yeh I'm kindve of a "1 of" novelty guy, so I keep allowing myself to splurge every now and then for these pieces heh. It's actually the Death Star bluetooth speaker, an iHome I got at Target for 50$! It's kindve a shiny plastic, glows when on and has a transparent stand. The picture may give it more wow factor than it would alone in bright light, but it's a great little speaker with good volume and an auxiliary port as well as bluetooth! |

I agree, and I really wanted those to work... but they fit on the thin-neck "disc" and lower body in an unbalanced way (since they're slightly different widths), so it sat slightly crooked. With the chamber open it looked great, but closed not so much. I added some extra padding (QDC sends with it to keep the sabers safe from scratches on those metal hands) to one side, but then the saber looked balanced closed and the chamber open was crooked lol. If I couldn't have both, then I went back to the original with same padding on both sides. Plus, the wider 9.75" arms help accent the neck! The 7.5" worked well on that old 1999 Obi-Wan TPM toy hilt tho heh |

Ha, sorry just cool to see. So I wanted the display to not be so lonely on the shelf, but needed something simple and relevant. Decided to add these saber hilt blueprints I found online (along with the holocron, gotta force save the data I guess)! I used a clear CD case flipped backward as the stand (can't really see behind it, works well), then printed out the ROTJ (slick photo paper) in black, Obi (resume paper) in red-brown markings for that aged/worn look, and Anakin's (blue) that way because it came out clearest on regular paper heh. I thought that mentor and father "build diagram" look would work well, and add as a nice conversation piece even though its in the midst of cooler items.

 Saber Display Stand - QuestDesignCanada ETSY its incredible, agreed and thanks! I lucked out finding it. It was tough to let go of more $$ after getting my Prodigal Son, but when I got it I was like...DO NOT CARE! It was being used for blaster display, but he liked my idea and used my pic when he set it up as a new item. Very cool! |

Thanks!!! I agree, it is SO Original Trilogy and I was so happy it existed! Everything else I see is cool, even the list displays here or there, but this had the FEEL of SW. Necessary! He has blue and red options also, AND will soon be coming out with a color-changing LED option. Not sure when tho. I appreciate the room compliment, trying to make it work! Married life (my wife is awesome for being okay with this haha) has helped me to make this area clean and cool looking without over-doing it on the bachelor "stuff everything I can into this spot!" look that it used to be, lol. |

Thanks!!! I agree, it is SO Original Trilogy and I was so happy it existed! Everything else I see is cool, even the list displays here or there, but this had the FEEL of SW. Necessary!
