I'm still waiting on a few parts to come in to finish this build. I still haven't decided what color to go with for the LED. Im thinking maybe a blood orange or amber

Update:

Got the wires threaded for activation switch and LED. Ordered both this morning. Went with the Amber.

Once they come in I will finish this and put final pics up.

Well got my email yesterday that my last parts have shipped. Woke up this morning and checked the shipping link, they will be here tomorrow. Sadly I will be at work tomorrow and all this weekend. Won't be able to install and finish saber till Monday hopefully.

I feel like that hilt needs some weathering, or some color tone added to it. Some gold or copper up along the neck would look really nice, and maybe a nice dark brown fill along the grooved section of the body. Would compliment the amber LED nicely.

But looking good. It's a cool feeling, watching a saber you are building come to together. Best moment is that first ignition with everything finished. Here's to you having a great moment when it's completed. ;)

Thought about what you said Jas. It probably could use some of that, but I'm going more for a Old Republic / Great Hyperspace War look.

I may do some form of weathering later on.

Looks good! Love that yellow. I actually like it plain, it looks "simply elegant".

This style kill key from TCSS might fit better than the standard SF one with where you put the recharge port; it's a bit smaller. Not sure why but atm the only option on the drop down menu is the blue one. There may be some other vendors with a similar sized one though (since the other styles from TCSS are huge).
