TOPIC: Old Reliant is Perfect!

Recently I got old designed SF Reliant from my friend.
I felt in love much more than latest design.
Here we go!

Sharp curved emitter is indeed perfect.
Sexy proportion of big emitter- thin part- thick grip part-round pommel.

Hilt body is so much Detailed in dual tone. I love Circuit lines.
Activation box was removed by former owner for easy handling. But I can reattach it.

As for modification, I burned emitter cover and opened a window.
Get more better!

This hilt is one kind of SaberForge's regacy.
Only the pommel is disadvantage of old design, I think.
I will replace it with latest pommel someday!

That is a very cool saber, and the mod you did to the emitter just adds to that coolness. One day, when the ASP program is readily available, I may attempt a modified Reliant build for myself.

what did you use to burn/cut the emitter open to create that window?

I just used a match to burn emitter shroud.
Then, wash smoke stain by soft cloth.
Repeat burning/washing until you get good result.
Be careful do not damage internal electronics
Once you get satisfaction, apply clear coating spray to keep stains.

The shroud is removable, I don't know so does new one or not.
At first I used a drill to make some holes, then used dremel to connect holes.
You need endurance too
