Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I'm getting ready to do an install on my ASP saber. I'm installing a Prizm V5 and I'm going to be drilling a hole in the body section for the recharge port. I have a drill press but I have no idea how to drill a recessed hole. Do you just use a larger drill bit or is there a special kind of bit to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

You need a specific type of Milling bit, not a drill bit, to get that flat recessed hole.hopefully someone that has actually done this can guide you further down your path.

You will want a step bit. You should be able to get one that has a 12mm and 14mm step.

Thank you all for the help. Never heard of a step bit or used one. Should be fun! :) I was thinking a paddle bit would work but the step bit makes more sense.
