While I wait for my new sabers to arrive, I thought I'd kill some time by trying some weathering on an old aluminum flashlight I had laying around. The light started out with a high gloss finish. I'm planning on doing something similar to my Fury when it arrives. |

Actually a combination of cold blue (for firearms) and a light misting of rust-colored primer.
The "speckled" pattern is actually the way the aluminum came out after a few wipes of cold blue on a paper towel. |
