It turned out great! I am in the middle of building mine (should be done I the next few days) and will be posting a detailed build log.

Where did you put the aux button at?
Own: 2005 MR ESB Vader, Korbanth Graflex 2.0 (self-install)

Aux button is on the left side. You can see it on the pic. Its discreet and fairly low profile.

I guess right side if you're looking at the saber, left side if holding it.
