Here's the hilt I've planned and plotted for awhile, Qel-Droma's Sorrow, which came to life via the ASP Legacy tier:

... But while we're waiting some background. My gateway to Star Wars fandom was via the Tales of the Jedi , published by Dark Horse. On the saber side of things I really appreciated the TOTJ hilt aesthetic: layered, long, and spiky:

When I first caught wind of the Legacy tier I jumped on the opportunity to get a customized hilt (this was pre-custom shop, how time flies). I designed and ordered the claws via a custom aluminum shop and sent them off... Almost a year ago now. I brain stormed with Justin what would work and what wouldn't and 11ish months later it's gratifying to see the final product!

Now with this offering, you have two, the second a hybrid that almost has a Transformers themed quality about it with the Custom designed Emitter claws and the default sectional shrouds. One very exciting looking Saber!

I like the crystal chamber you have incorporated, and the claws are a great representation of the saber you were inspired by. The limits were what Justin/Daniel were capable of. There was a fair amount of back and forth that happened where we discussed the parameters of what was possible. The hilt isn't terribly complicated if you break it down. There's the base Archon with machined out slots for the claws, a trimmed shroud, the claws, some machining work for the crystal chamber, and the black chrome powdercoat.
