This is my Custom Dissident, a hilt that I was undecided with for a long time until recently. I decided to give custom options a go. The key options I got were Shattered Weathering & Clear Coat, and the Tsuka-Ito leather wrap.

This is the unboxing video. I shall post more as I complete the videos.

That's an awesome looking saber, dude. I really like the shattered weathering and the wrap. I'm looking forward to the full review. :)

I've never been fond of the wrapped look, but this one is starting to change my mind.
Good job.

Here is the main review. I forgot to post it up here.

Shattered weathering and clear coat with the black Tsuka-Ito wrap. SaberCore 3.0 Dark Side fonts and 12W+ Deep Red. I don't often go for a weathered saber by Saberforge but this one with the shattering weathering looks pretty good. The Dissident is a very practical saber, nothing gets in the way of handling (except maybe that little fabric piece). I would advise however that if you intend to duel heavily, then perhaps gloves might be needed for added grip as the Tsuka-Ito can get a little slippery if your hands get sweaty. (I don't duel anyway :cheer: )

I'm glad you posted this here. I saw it on your channel but I was doing something else and I forgot to come back and watch it.

Anyway, I've seen it now. Wow, that's a wicked looking saber. That shattered weathering looks fantastic up close and I love that wrap. By the way, Rahm Kota's lightsaber can have a red blade. In the PS2/Wii version of The Force Unleashed, you can change the way your lightsaber looks, including using other hilt designs you've picked up. You can use Kota's hilt once you've unlocked it and have it with a red blade. B)

Thanks! I think I knew about a red blade, I might have read about it somewhere before. But I went for red mainly because of the black Tsuka-Ito and the shattered weathering to complement it (to my eyes anyway).

 That's all that needs to be said, no further explanation necessary ;)
That wrap on a Kota makes a great difference. Nice choice.

You can't go wrong with red and black. Not only was it my high school colors, but it's classic Sith too. It's been considered "Sith" since Darth Vader showed up all garbed in black with that silver and black saber with a red blade. B)
