TOPIC: 12w+ Cyan Silver Knight

The third addition to my Saber Forge lightsaber collection is none other than the Silver Knight. I am drawn to this hilt for it's simplicity and elegance. It is in my opinion one of the few hilts that can utilize any of the blade color options without looking awkward or un-natural. The two-tones - black and silver are appealing while the straight lines give the illusion that the hilt is longer than it really is.
The silver edges on the grip section could stand to be sanded or filed but they cause no discomfort for me. No issues with one or two handed grip and spins are easy enough.



I am a fan of the overhanging emitter shroud design (don't know if that is an actual term ) and love the way that it is incorporated for the SK. There are a few scratches that are visible in certain light on the underbelly but nothing too significant or distracting - I'm just OCD.




I chose to eliminate the Cover Tech Knob and only utilize the D-ring for belt attachment. This decision was made purely for aesthetics. I wanted to maintain a sleek and tubular straight line look. The pommel, while not my favorite design, does "fit" the overall look of the hilt.



Though I consider myself more of a Darksider, I had to go with the Viridian font and the 12w+ Cyan blade for this hilt. Cyan is arguably my favorite shade of blue and I knew once I decided to purchase this hilt that I was going to go with a more light side feel. the contrast between the silver on the emitter and the Cyan blue blade was absolutely what I was going for. The lighter hum and crisp ignition from the viridian font tie it all together.

My only complaint is that I asked for a 32" blade was sent a 37". Pictured here however is a 32" blade from my Reborn.

Overall I am quite pleased with this hilt - 9 /10. Again, I love the sleek design and it is comfortable to hold. There were a few scratches on the underside of the emitter (only visible to my OCD eye) and a smudge (what looks like it might be some extra glue or something) on the left side of the black grip section, near the top. Otherwise, this was another great execution on the part of the SF team. I am proud to be one the 100 that own this Hilt (I remember when I placed the order for it there were only 16 left ).

Silver Knight now in the company of the Reborn and the Bane.

I went with Cyan and Purple for my Kickstarter colors. Love that combo. An amber would look nice there too.

I went with 2 Indigo and a green as my kick-starter colors. Now I want to add amber and cyan as well, but I promised myself no new sabers till after NYCC I need to save up some commission/OA money just in case.

Thank you so much for posting that triple pic. Without even knowing it, you helped me see that Cyan and Purple blend nicely together and don't clash too much if at all. I was considering a purple and cyan as a dual wield and if not a dual wield it'll be a "pair" or brother sabers at the least.

As others have said, thanks for the pics! I was on the fence about cyan as I wasnt really sure what the color outcome would be but man that is just strikingly good. The list just keeps getting longer...

Wow, I'm lovin' the 12w+ Cyan and the simplicity of that hilt. The pictures look great. Now I have an idea of what Cyan and Indigo look like side by side, (my wife wants her saber in Indigo). Excellent looking saber.

This saber is on my get list in 12w+ frost white. This design is simple yet elegant, it has a great background. Badass

Nice. Exactly what I was talking about in a Phoenix review that a Silver Knight don't always have to have a white blade if you want it to be your own I want one with a green and or cyan blade even more now. This looks really nice and so does your other sabers but I'm more drawn to the Silver Knight myself. How does it look without the rubber o-rings or are those actually machined into the hilt?
