I've been waiting so long for this moment! And now, it is in my hand...

The Sorcerer Saberstaff! 4 long Months, bad decisions and regrets... And now, here it is! I fell in love with this saber the second I saw the official 3D render! And now, today, I'm reviewing it, for you all!

It is a VERY gorgeous and comfortable saber! The new grip is giving the wielder a very good and comfortable grip over the saber, no matter if you wield it dual style or as a staff! Saber is short, perfect for my little hands haha:
- 1 single saber from bottom to emitter: 8.75"
- 1 single saber from bottom to tip of the claws: 10.90"
- From emitter to emitter: 17.5"
- From tip of a claw to the other: 21.75"

The new low profile coupler is very nice! It has very little holes to let the sound out, while amplifying it just enough so you're not losing any bit of it! I have deep blue 12W LEDs, which is a very lovely color! I've had a lot of different 12W LEDs since I've started buying from SF, and this was my very first deep blue! Don't ask me why (because I don't know), but blue has always been my favorite Lightsaber color, which makes a very happy jedi!
The Crimson Sabercore is nice! It is my very first saber using that soundboard! I love the clash sound, the igniting and the "closing" sound and that special lightning sound you get when you simpley press one of the AV switch (press again to stop the effect)! The only thing I hate about it is the motion sound: I mean, WTF is that?

The design is VERY ergonomic! I can place both my hands on those little black necks below the claws and get a perfect grip that allows me to wield my saber with perfect ease! I even tend to think it coulsd be possible, using short blades, to wield the staff to use only one hand! This will require some practice, but I'm convinced it is doable!
Now, some pros and cons!

Pros:
- SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL! I mean, look at that beauty!
- Very comfortable and ergonomic!
- Perfect for little hands
- Light, very light, which gives you a weird point of balance, but allows faster movements!
- Deep blue: PERFECT!
- Crimson: Not bad actually! I had very low expectations about it and I'm happy with the result!
- The new low profile coupler is amazing! At first I had no idea if it was there or not! It is very short. Simple design, amazing result!

Con:
- I only have one! GOD DAMNIT, THOSE FUCKING BLADE PLUGS ARE KILLING ME! They're are to take off, since they're not falling by themselves when you slack the retention screw (finger killers, litterally), and they're not that easy to put back in place, since the claws are made to fit tight! I can deal with it, but it's telling me not to play with them too often!

This was a killer deal! I received the sabers, the coupler, the pommels, 4 blades and all the same goodies that normally comes with SF sabers!

I recommend this saber to any darkside lovers, staff lovers or just saber addicts! I give it an easy, big phat 10/10!

Just turned my Sorcerer in a Killer Staff! Enjoy the pictures!!!

This "thing" turns out to be more than 7' tall! I need to spin it high in order not to hit the ground with in! Video incoming later this week!

Exar Kun replica Saber, very nice laid out design. This be on my list of Sabers to add as part of my collection. I hope this Saber gets added onto the Saber Forge web page as regular in the Saber line up.

How does the staff coupler work? It looks to be inside the saber.

It's a low profile coupler on this one. The majority of it is the threaded portion of the coupler, so yes, it would technically be "inside" the saber. But has a small vented area to allow sound through.
There are other couplers however, long and short, and they vary in lengths around 1.5 - 3" I believe. Such as the polished coupler used in the pics where he added the wrapped extensions.
