Holy claymore, Batman! That sucker is awesome! It'd work even better with longer crossguard blades to be an actual Claymore.

Too bad I'm still a minor. With only a few hours of work a week during the school year. Sigh...

Some think the Relic is big. But the Dark Paladin takes that to a whole new level! This will slaughter Kylo Ren!

I am not sure about that this hilt has its neck on the open and makes main blade an easy target because of side blades placement you can't really get advantage of leather wrapping on short part either unless you deactivate side blades. Now if side blades were at an angle or was looking ahead like a sai or trident it would be functional. Ofcourse need to see in person for final judgement and it doesn't change this is a state of art

I say this bad boy and knew I would instantly be added to my must-have list thanks to my love of greatswords and claymores.

I kinda of like it. It makes me think of Star Wars meets Braveheart. It's a beast! "They can take our lives, but they can't take our Freedom!"

That hilt is freaking huge. Does it come with a longer than normal blade to really make it intimidating?

37" is long, but how about 48" for this monster? 60" might be a bit much, but I think 48" would be reasonable hahaha.

I'm not sure that's nessesary. I've got a couple wooden swords that clock in at over 45" and they're pretty unwieldy when you try to use only one hand. They're definitely in the class of long sword. 50" is already massive, and replacing a 37" blade with a 48" one would be unwieldy no matter how you shake it.

But I wanna feel like a scottish berserker! In space! It's not meant to be wielded with one hand, it's meant for two, hence the leather wrap above the crossguard, to grab for thrusting.

Total length of a zweihander could hit up to 180cm (roughly 6')

This hilt is meant to be massive, like a zweihander, so why not have a massive blade to go with it?

Longswords are, like 'traditional' lightsabers, designed for mostly two handed use. Though are balanced so they are usable one handed, they are meant for two hands for proper leverage and control.

There is no way a zweihander or other obscenely large two hander should be able to be properly controlled one handed.
Last Edit: 1 year 1 month ago by Zeddicuus. Reason: slight messup on some wording.

this would look bada$$ in dark weathering, black or dark brown leather wrap, and axe sideblades! and maybe deep red or blood orange with delayed ignition. and since there's all that space, 2x 18650 batteries and 12w+ leds all around. and crimson or some other dark soundfont.
