Thomas Synder: SSOOO the interest on this really shot up, so the word is we're going forward on it...new design with no splits, and no seams..

I saw a response from Phil on this where he said it could be available in 8-12 weeks. I am sure there are many of you who remember when the render for this saber was published over a year ago, and there was (and remains) a lot of enthusiasm for it. Given what Thomas said about it, it sounds like the design has been improved from the original render, so it will be even better that it would have been way back when.

I hope they are ready to make a lot of them, because there are going to be a lot of orders for it as soon as it shows on on the main site.

Yes, well...I no longer make announcements about things until I not only have confirmation, but an expected time line to set expectation. That was a real noob mistake by a brand new forum admin (yours truly).

Anyway, in this case, we had both time line, and confirmation and that's about as good as it gets. Not only that, but since the original conversation took place on the FB group with a LOT of members, there would be a lot more folks than just us forum members disappointed if it does not happen. That at least keeps us in good company.

Darth Squidious, It is still an upcoming release, and the very minute I have confirmation on that date, I will be putting it here on the forum. It is on my short list too!
