This is the 5 th saber in three months I bought from SF... normally I do a self install but decided to try the sabercore 3.0 on this, but I’m not a fan of green so went with medium blue ;)

That's a lightsaber !? I don't have access to Rebels until the dvd's come out. What kind of blade goes on this creation. Suppose it's much better than that combo saber/blaster thingy... but I like the green bladed cross guard the best. :P

I have purchased a total of 5 sabers and lots of parts since August... from 3 sellers and got a free little stunt as well. Early Merry Christmas to me and you. :woohoo: ;)

But in my defense I had a dry spell with SF for a few years. I can clearly say that I am done for this year lol. Hope you enjoy each one that you have chosen. :lol:

Since you haven't seen Rebels... the blades in the show are super thin. A 3/4" blade would probably be a screen-accurate accurate size.

I believe that skinny part of the emitter is actually a blade plug, going from the verbage on the FB post. "Pencil style blade plug with our thin neck blade socket."

I believe the "pencil blade plug" acts as a method of further steadying the blade in a socket that looks a little more shallow than even other thin-necks, kind of like the Talon. As for the blade itself, it takes a standard thin-neck blade.

I've only seen some Rebels from season 1, but that's a sick looking saber even if it's not a design that's familiar to me. SaberForge is really knocking it out of the park with all of the new releases this year.

It's easier to see on the weathered pics, but the thin bit is definitely a blade plug. They didn't insert it fully on the weathered photo, so you can see the extra lip it adds.

Makes sense, since that slant would've caused problems with the blade film, and you don't see the dark spot at the base that you do with a Prodigal Son.

I just regret missing that detail earlier. I wanted to pick one up with the Black Friday coupon, but thought that slanted nipple would get in the way of my NeoPixel connector... Guess I'll wait for the next sale.
