SaberForge is pleased to announce two new entry level boards and a brand new tier to bridge the gap between Warrior and Champion. For those who don't need all of the features of our 3.0 soundboard we have the VETERAN 2.5 boards. The Veteran 2.5 import features 3 sound fonts, flicker on clash, 2x aux effects, and physical motion sensors with no menu. Loose board is 39.99 and the full upgrade including blade, light up switch, in hilt recharge, charger, warranty, and install is 185.00 The Veteran 2.5 USA features 2 sound fonts, 5 blade flicker speeds, 1x aux effect, and an accellerometer with a full voice menu. Loose board is 49.99 and the full upgrade including blade, light up switch, in hilt recharge charger, warranty, and install is 200.00 |

Are we going to see any PnP modules of these sold? Will we see these as ASP assembly options? If yes will there be energy vibration standard as with the champion assembly?
Do we have any idea for pricepoints on the above? |

My understanding is that the PnP/ASP, as well as the discreet boards should be available very soon. They are working on the website changes, and when they are ready, BOOM!
Since the picture on the front of the Intro video shows a PnP board, it stands to reason they were coming right on the heels of the formal announcement. |

This is great for those who don't care about changing fonts, or want the old viridian and crimson fonts back!
Does any of these boards feature a mute function? I would guess the import doesn't, but the USA one only shows low and high sound volume profiles in the menu during the video |

I like these options. I don't need all of the features of the SC3.0 and I never got in on the 2.0, so I don't have any sabers with those fonts. I really like the USA one because of the options, though the import is nice too. I'll probably have to get one of each to start, to see which I like better.

Good to see the classic Viridium and Crimson both on one board. I really dig the deep rumble of the Crimson. And the kill key is back .... lol

I know what I'll be getting soon
 Medium Blue Justicar with the USA board I like that gunmetal font, sounds interesting and will probably use that the most. Plus you know me and my love for saber lockup sounds to make it feel more realistic

The import board does sound like a "Made in China" board. I have come across similar boards and there is this high pitch tone to it all. I think I prefer the USA board.

Yeah, it's quite a difference between the two boards running the Veridium sound font. The sound seems louder and crisper on the USA one. But, that Chinese one does have three fonts, which will be attractive to some people, along with the $15 cheaper price for a fully equipped saber. |

Definitely a nice addition to the options. Honestly, I might have gone with one of these had they been available when I made my most recent purchases - however, I am in no way dissatisfied with what I have.
Planning to do an ASP double on my next trip home - my 'Ultimate' saber if you will - and will likely go with one of these options. It even has a name... but I'll reveal that once I get it done. / wink -Esch |

Sounds like this is what I have been waiting for, I love the kill keys. Now I just need them to do a good sale. There is always a sale each month, typically 10% or 15%. Black Friday last year was a special 20%. So the January 2018 sale should be up soon. |

I have two questions brought up on this thread that I am having trouble finding the answers:
1. Does the 2.5 import have mute capability? According to customer service, no. 2. Any idea when the next sale might happen? March 18, 2018. Just had to answer my two questions now that I have definitive answers. |
