My wife won't let me buy anything Star Wars related this month because it's my birthday later on, so I don't know if I'll get it when it comes out, or have to wait till the actual day

Got it on iTunes. I have to say Im disappointed in the extra scenes (lack of). From what Ive read there was over a half hour cut from the movie including a scene where Maz K. uses the force to drop a ceiling down on some stormtroopers and that's not on my digital copy as far as I can tell.

I imagine there will be a extended version that gets released later this year. Just so Disney can milk more money from us.

I downloaded the movie on PirateBay (Evil cringe) huehuehue. But I intend to get the Blue Ray copy in order to go with my Blue Ray complete Saga.
Some of my 501st friends (excluding me) are going to the official lauch of the movie in two different Wal-Marts where I live. I was forbidden of going because my costume is not considered Iconic -_-! |

My family is getting the regular version from Best Buy later today. I would have ordered it from the Disney store to get those lithographs, but I didn't know how they'd fair in the mail (closest Disney store is in another state).

JJ said before there's be no extended or directors cut of the film. I think the reason some of deleted scenes weren't included (including one where Chewie tears Unkar's arm off) may be due to them not having all their effects done when they were cut. Though with the Maz scene they'd still have Lupita Nyang'o in her mocap suit in the scene, so I don't see why they couldn't include it. |

I dont think thats the reason because some of the deleted scen s on the digital vetsion arent finished. That chewy scene would be awesone btw! |

I love what the 501st do, but sometimes I feel that they really have a stick up their collective butts.
