Hello Guys,

My saber is finally arrived! It is awesome, and I was in awe when receiving package at the post office.

After quick unboxing the blade I was in a rush to test it out with some swings.

The curve is very smooth and is very comfortable in my hand. Fencing techniques are performed smoothly given the saber have a very good weight feel to it. However, the two-handed maneuver cut a little short since the curve is in the way and I need to choke up the blade to just barely perform them.

Down side, it seem SF haven put Covertech Knob on my saber. Well e-mail SF already on that.

The color is what I was expecting, a beautiful blueish green that is irresistible to gaze on. The very tip of the hilt are two very sharp fangs, and I got cut after some swings and spins (flesh wounds that heals after a lick or two)

Overall the saber is very beautiful have smooth and nice 'Grey' feels to it, yet it is very sharp around the tip, best keep out of smaller children.

Thank you Saber Forge for my very first saber, I will have a sound sleep tonight after some more shadow fight practice. Hope I can move to the next saber for duel wield soon :-)

Looks way better than the stock photos on the site; awesome saber and cool colour, that mintgreen is really catching ;)
Just out of curiosity, why a 6W and not a 12W?

Some fine grit sandpaper taken to those edges and points should make them a tad bit less dangerous. Just don't be too aggressive with it, so as not to alter the finish in any obvious way.

Great saber my friend!
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

I think this is the first weathered Vanquish I've seen posted in this section. VERY sexy! The mint green looks good with that finish.
