Awwww yess! It finally arrived. I ordered this and a 12W+ Indigo Arbiter on Dec 28th (Review soon) and it arrived on March 19th, which is much sooner than I anticipated.

It may not be as bright as the 12W+, but it is definitely worth the money. The blood orange is a vivid color that bursts to life when you activate the saber, and it feels real enough even without sound.

I'm not a big fan of the gripping area below the switch, as it catches your hand and scratches it a bit, but I don't grab it there so it's no biggie.

I will say however, the covertech knob came loose and fell off. It is currently lost, however I didn't want the covertech knob on my Arbiter so I relocated it to my Acolyte.

The blade is 32 inches, which feels really well balanced when spinning and dueling. It feels very sturdy and solid, and the color is vivid all throughout the blade. Unfortunately the white core shown in the images is just a trick of the camera, the blade irl looks completely orange with no white.

Overall, I give this a 9.5/10.
The battery does not last long and I live in constant fear that I will break the wire when I try to change the batteries.

Hi Afkor,

Congrats on a fine saber! Love the Blood Orange colour looks great with the standard finish. I have the Disciple, the Acolyte's twin and know how nice these two Sabers are. Both our Sabers are so powerful with the Force they have their own Force Ghosts in our pics, Awesome! (Picture no.3 appears to have a ghost image of your Saber)

I hope you enjoy your Acolyte and that it serves you long and well,

First off: your photography is awesome. Really represents a beautiful version of the saber. Nicely done.

The review starts off a little akward as you mention a completely different order in the opening wording. However, I followed along when you began to speak about the covertech knob etc.

Please continue to post about your experience with the 32" blade. I for one, ordered a 37" and welcome comparison.

@samross04
I can see why you are confused there. The point I was trying to get across was that I ordered the Acolyte and the Arbiter at the same time, which meant there was a review coming for the arbiter in a bit. (I have to get it repaired, I kinda broke one of the wires just a few hours after receiving it)
I'm also flattered that you enjoyed my photography B)

Ah, I didn't notice the ghost at force, but now I see it. I've seen this phenomenon before and I have some pictures of just pure force ghost.

Hi Akfor,

Even better ghosts you have there! In case you are brave I'll post the link to my Disciple pics and you can have a laugh at my photography skills.

Tyeth's Ghost Disciple

It is the third pic and if you look at the pommel end of the Saber you can see another emitter!

Thanks again and happy sabering!

Very sharp photos, beautiful saber with that BO LED!

BO is almost a universal color that goes well with all sabers on offer. This is the first time I see it on the Acolyte.

Afkor, Congratulations with successful delivery of your Saber. The polished Silver exterior with the anodised Black accent lines works really well and partnered with your LED choice simply ties everything together quite effectively. I've personally only ever seen Saberforge Blade illumination on video and via image reference like this and never in person. Without a premise for comparison, whilst you say the BO is a 6w (suspected +), it still looks phenomenally bright.

Your images loaded have high clarity to the degree of easily identifying the coarse surface texture on the inside wall of the emitter. If a 6w is seemingly that bright, the much talked about 12w+ must be blinding?

I'm curious, when you write the rear grip beneath the switch section as being rough, do the accent lines (noted are sharp) contribute in any way to the sturdiness of your grip or do they simply offer aesthetic value only? With what I imagine the length and thickness to be it'd be a logical grip at the choke obvious to your preferred hold-point also. I know it's unintentional (as For Tyeth references as Force Ghosts) it actually adds dramatic effect to the image. I like it.

Thank you for sharing and with the invitation to look at your cool glowy stabby things. ;)

It's good to know that on the fateful day when I finally do order a BO Disciple like I planned to months ago, it will look as good or better than this Acolyte! Nice concise review and great saber!

Wow, Afkor, what a beautiful lightsaber! I have the Acolyte as well, so I'm definitely a fan of the design. What really surprises me is the brightness of the 6w emitter. Man, that blood orange looks amazing! Kind of makes me wonder if my Ultrasaber saber has an orange emitter that is less than 6w. Great photos, man! Enjoy the saber. :)

The Acolyte was my very first apprentice saber (and well, my only one haha). It was a 12W Red warrior tier. It is a very comfortable, easy to handle and nice looking saber. Plus, it is very small, making it closer to ''the real thing''.

Congratulations on your purchase my friend. Enjoy your saber :)!
