Hello, and thanks for reading this.

So I am interested in making my first custom saber. Here is what I have so far.

Adaptive Saber Parts
http://www.saberparts.com/#/configure?code=4.111.4.0-3.96.4.41-2.66.4.0-1.34.4.0-7.152.19.0-5.144.0.0-8.154.0.0

Parts
ASP . Pommel 1 . Black
ASP . Juggernaut Body . Black . Medium Red Leather
ASP . Mauler Switch . Black
ASP . Reborn Emitter . Black
ASP . Led 12W+ . Red
ASP . Blade 37'' . null
ASP . Sound Viridian . null

DO I need anything else? There are other parts I wanted but they are sold out right now. Also any opinions on what I have so far? Is the blade too long for the hilt? Open to opinions and thank you.

You will need a ASP Sound kit either Veteran, Champion, or Hero, and a ASP momentary switch.

The only real problem that I see is that now Saberforge has the 3.0 soundboard and doesn’t do viridian sound unless you get the 2.5 sabercore.

For length of the blade I’m 5’ 10” and I go for the 32 inch blades. The 37” blades are just to long for my height.

I am also 5'10 and I thought that might be a bit too long but I also have one of those Force FX sabers and was comparing it to that. So you think 32 would be better for me?

I just need a basic sound kit I guess. What do you recommend? I have a FORCE FX saber that has sounds. The Luke Blue One. IS there anything along those lines?

Get one of the Veteran ASP kits. USA kit has Viridian and Crimson and voice menu. Import kit has viridian, crimson and Gunmetal, and is a little cheaper.

Ok, I got the import on the list and a black momentary switch. Anything else I need? Also, may be a really dumb question but, these come completely built, right? Like I can take it out of the box and its ready to go? I am not handy with these kinds of things at all and worry that I would mess it up if I had to do any of it on my own.

I hace a 37 in blade, and I liken it a lot. it makes the saber feel heavy at the tip with the added length, which I like, but it is also easy to gain too much momentum and lose control., So it depends on how you like to wield the saber.

I would be going for quick strikes I think. More defensive until a mistake is made. I feel like I would lose control with a 37 since I would most often use it in one hand. Thank you for the input!

For an ASP saber to come assembled, you have to purchase an assembly package together with the parts. So for a Veteran saber the Veteran assembly pack from the Adaptive Saber Parts section of the shop page.

As SA said if you wanted it assembled and ready to go that would be another $250 on top of all your parts.
if you just order your parts they will not come assembled but you save that $250 so......

OMG seriously? This was getting out of my price range at $300, now if I want it all together its going to be about $500. Is it hard to put together? No way I can afford the extra 250.

If you get the plug and play system it is not that difficult to assemble. Just watching a YouTube video of ASP and you’ll know how to do it.

If you go with the Champion professional assembly, I believe the package includes the LED, sound board, and blade. Therefore, you would NOT have to add them separately to your order. Unfortunately, it doesn't look they currently offer a Veteran assembly option, which would probably be priced between the Warrior and Champion packages and would probably save you some money. Possibly worth a call or email to customer support to see if they would do a Veteran assembly...

That looks pretty good, but what is with the ominous at the end of the list?

It is a sound board thing. I kind of just went down the list and picked one of everything.

Also what about the other things like a kill switch and a belt clip. Do I need those or anything extra to make those work? Sorry for so many questions, I just dont want to order it and find out there are parts missing.
