Very neat Zeddicuus.

It has a reliable aspect, looks like the weapon of someone you can actually trust and rest your hopes on. Well done!

Thanks Faethien!

I've been poking and prodding the program off and on for about a week, and this is one I actually liked enough I'd consider buying the components to build!

I've been poking around as well and made about 40, but not one I would buy yet.

I'm still having fun with it ;)

it is kinda fun to poke at and see what can be done. Been trying to setup and extended handle saber( something nearly the 15" mark. I prefer my hands with a bit of space between them for two handed grip) but going two bodies requires the switch in the middle, which looks like it would feel awkward. Have to still work on it. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

As for the other one I posted, I'm still debating the graflex pommel as I prefer d-rings for that classic feel compared to the covertec but I haven't given the covertec setup a fair trial yet as my first saber has yet to arrive hehehe.

Have you looked at adding a coupler between the two bodies, rather than moving the switch?

You know, I haven't thought of that...

I really should have though. Thanks! I will have to try that out and see how it looks!

Well, I added the coupler, and I have to admit making the saber about 16" does seem like it would have a lot more space for a grip you can shift around. Does this look like it would be wieldy though at that length plus a 37" blade?

Interesting concept, rather than a spear extension you are using anther body. IMO the body in the middle of the hilt should be flipped, but like i said just my opinion. In regards to the blade, with a longer handle you would probably want a shorter blade. However, it is all up to your preference. Such is the beauty of the ASP system.

hahah yeah, I actually tinkered with it more after I posted that and flipped one of the bodies and it worked a lot better, it left the center far more open for shifting your grip around and having a wide gap between the hands should you feel necessary. I feel it allows a bit more options compared to your hands being tightly pressed together as might happen on some hilts. Plus you get more of that lever action used for a katana, though I am no expert on combat with those.

Here is what I tweaked it to look like now. I'm still messing around with the pommel and the switch, trying to find the right one. This one appears to be a bit better IMO.

Here it is with the bodies flipped the opposite way:

Both look pretty good, but personally I feel the second has better flow to it. Might have to change the switch though seems out of place this way.

This is a simple one I made on the site. Though not my first of the ones I've made this one I think I like the most (so far) because of it's simplicity and similarity to Luke's RTOJ saber which has always been one of my favorites. I call it...

Skywalker's Disciple

I'm neurotically picky about certain things and saber aesthetics is apparently one of them. :P

I sometimes find myself that way about most things. A background in art and design may have something to do with my problem though
