Something similar to Ezra's lightsaber/blaster hybrid? That would be cool, though some more parts would be needed.

Hi All,

Sorry for the double post but Heliolord mentioned Ezra Bridger's hybrid. I haven't been able to break the ASP Builder just yet and build a "Staple Gun" but I think I have his Season 3 green bladed hilt.

And yeah, we need some guard options for ASP options, with one resembling Ezra's "stapler", and maybe a parabolic dish or bell guard like rapiers and foils use. Foil guards seem very appropriate for Makashi users. Someone in another thread said something along the lines of making couplers with the guard attachments.

I've been toying around with the idea of a fallout themed saber based around the plasma rifle and shishkebab. Unfortunately, ASP doesn't quite meet the look of fallout jury-rigged weapons, so I'm looking to the hardware store for the appropriate parts. After all, a saber made from 200 year old junk would likely be made of some old kitchen pipe or something.

So a pipe for the handle, a couple multidirectional splitters on both ends. On the pommel end, a fusion cell in one port, an air hose leading up to the top splitter (reminiscent of power armor hoses), and a pipe cap with a nuka cola bottle cap on it for the removable pommel. The top splitter has one hole taking the air hose, another has a bike brake handle mounted like the shishkebab to act as a switch, and the top hole holds the emitter. The emitter itself is a sort of cage setup, like wire cage around light bulbs, and inside is a mock plasma rifle vacuum tube made of plastic bottles. The blade goes in through the top of the metal cage frame, through the vacuum tube, and seats below to be held in by an old hose handle used as a retention screw.

I even have an idea to use the Geiger counter clicking as a blade hum sound font. And some liberty prime quotes here and there.

Thanks Dav,

I try and push the limits and think outside the box. And I have even learnt a New Trick. Other members have photoshopped images etc well I have finally taken the plunge and have learnt how to recreate Powder Coating textures. So you may be seeing a few new sabers with those colour options from me too. (My first is the Wolverine in classic comic book yellow/gold and blue finish! I may post that soon).

Well it's been a few days since anyone posted here and as the new trailer for Wonder Woman has been released here's my next design.





I had been waiting to post this one a bit nearer the release date but hey ho!
I also think that SF may get a lot of orders for the Lightwhip attachment now (being as the Lariat of Hestia glows gold, looks kinda like a lightwhip!).
