Was anything said about the charger being absent? Sorry to be so forward, but i've been trying to ask this for a few days and my posts are going missing, either that or I can't see my own posts. I'd just like to know incase I need to acquire an ac adapter as by design or as a just-in-case option. Thanks :)

Your emitter and switch section seem to have a different kind of finish than the body. Your emitter and switch (and pommel?) seems to have the brushed metal finish whilst the body seem to have a satin finish. Does it bother you?

Looks great! That blade plug, though. It looks as if it's sticking out a bit too far. Should that ring of light around it be visible I wonder?

It could probably sit a little lower, but I like how that looks for display purposes. :)

Remember how I mentioned the Forge was sending me out a replacement blade and switch?

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah, guess what I got in the mail today. :)

So here's what it looked like a few days ago:

Now here's what we've got:

Needless to say, I'm very happy now - and I went ahead and put it and my Gladius on the display using my new stand.

Should hopefully see my Silver Knight tomorrow - can't wait to do a review of it as well!

Yeah, for some reason the imgur links weren't displaying correctly, so I just attached the images. :)

And yes, it does! I'm thrilled with how it looks.

The only other slight tweak I made was to secure the shroud to my emitter using a couple dabs of E6000. That way I don't have to worry about any rattle when I'm putting it through heavy use.

NOTE: I'm 99.9999% sure that just voided my warranty for at least that particular ASP part, so only do it if you are A) very sure and B) don't ever think you may need to send it back. :)

Beautiful saber! So awesome. Happy to see an ASP so in depth! Eagerly awaiting more posts and eventually my own saber! It's been quiet over the past few days!

Nice saber Sir. I chose the same emitter when I picked my parts and it looks even better than I did in the parts builder. Very excited to eventually receive my asp saber.

Hey, solid saber!

I just received my ASP saber... name in the works at this point, as I have to buy a few more things from saberforge to make it fully complete.

I have a question for you in regards to the switch section. Mine also came with a switch and that false button, but my fake button doesn't stay on. I was debating on picking up some jb weld to get a small dab around the rim of it, but i'm not sure. I emailed SF about it to see if they have suggestions, still waiting to hear back.

Did yours pop in tightly, or did you have to use something to secure it?

My dummy switch had already been glued in - I would just use some JB or E6000, your preference.

Seating the LED and screwing it's retention screw in is very easy - especially if you leave the blade plug in to provide a "stop" for the LED.

why have I not thought of that before.

That one looks like the design I made myself on the ASP system. It is gorgeous, amazing saber my friend, I like it... A LOT!!!

Hey BZ, if it's not too much trouble, could you look for any company name, branding or identifying marks on the battery holder? BoostinIX and I have been trying to figure out what kind of battery holder SF uses for warrior tier sabers, as the one TCSS stocks won't fit the button top Panasonic 18650 he bought from SF.

Nothing obvious I can see on it, I'm afraid - if there's a maker's mark or part number it might be under the glued down wiring / velcro, but there's nothing I can easily see.
