Thanks, guys! I love the standard and weathered finishes, but black was the way to go for me. And I tried to be objective with the review and give details. Since everything's so new with the ASP items, and since people may have the same or similar parts, I figure the more detail and the more opinion, the better. Especially when it comes to admitting I'm a dummy and I missed that ninja of a lower retention screw.

Boost, I'll get a pic or two of the pack out of the saber today for you.
Literally. The worst.

The "Nameless" looks awesome. You should do some light weathering to it. Pommel & Emitter
My ASP Saber like yours is all black. I plan on doing some weathering by sanding and painting the emitter, body and the pommel to make key parts stand out more.

Hey, Boost...here's some images of the battery pack outside of the hilt:

Hopefully, that helps. I think these images kinda illustrate what I meant by it being the perfect size and material to fit snugly in the hilt. It's almost the same size as the inner diameter of the hilt, but the way the velcro "gives", so to speak, allows it to fit in and hold itself in place.
Literally. The worst.

That's interesting. I've watched a few of the DIY saber builders on youtube and they seem to use the batteries with the PCB protection. Does this have that as well? I do like the battery tray.

Nice review. Love the all black color.. After looking at yours I wish I had ordered the wrapped handle too for my saber.
