I haven't posted anything about a SF hilt in a while so here you go:

WIP

ASP hilt, Epoch emitter, switch and lower body, pommel #3

I have done an etch across the hilt (left the switch section clean) in a sort of Satele Shan/Damascus style.

It's not finished, I have some cleanup to do along with some polishing and the internals are only about halfway done but I wanted to share before the weekend got away.

Specs:

-- rB/B/W Tri-Cree
-- Spark2 sound board - Setup for single switch
-- 18650B Panasonic 3400mah Li-Ion battery
-- KR Sabers 28mm speaker
-- Goth-3Designs 1.11" chassis with support rods
-- Unlit AV switch
-- 12mm offset RCP

Let me be the first to comment and say that this is one fine looking saber. I have always loved the Epoch Emitter except for one little hang-up I can't get over. The fact that the blade color doesn't seem to extend beyond the windows. Is that as pronounced in real life as in the ASP builder? Either way, your etching makes this thing look extremely sweet. I was just thinking about a Shark Tooth Pattern Damascus for a saber, I just watched Forged in Fire the other night. B)

Hi Jas-Ot,

Fantastic etching design - very (fan)-dazzling! My only criticism would be to find a slightly better backdrop to take your photos against, the saber sort of camouflages itself! (It kinda reminds me of the splinter/dazzle camouflage pattern painted on WW2 warships)

And @Raakallaht, a good friend of mine has a 12W+ Amber Epoch and he loves it (his was one of the first to get a 12W+ LED too)
You can see his review and the all important pictures by clicking HERE.

Again great work Jas and to Raakallaht I hope you find Xyster's Epoch review helpful.

Thank you for the review link For Tyeth. I will definitely check it out. As for the camouflage everyone knows that it is impossible to not pop bubble wrap immediately after opening your package.

I need to build a photo box for the sabers. Just haven't gotten around to it. Also was in a bit of a rush.
