So last month I emailed Justin about ordering a Bastion in all black. Some of you might remember me mentioning it in other threads. I have had the saber for about 9 days now, and I am in love with it! It is very sleek. Also very easy to handle. The only issue I personally have is that the choke point is small. Sometimes it can be a tad uncomfortable with someone who might have larger fingers like me. It is slightly heavier than say a Consular but only a smidge. I also stood it next to my Consular and it's no more than a 1/4 of an inch longer. The windowed emitter looks even nicer in person also. I plan on getting digital text added on it white in the future.

Overall, I am very pleased. Justin from SF Customs did make it look gorgeous. Going to eventually buy a second one so I can get a Bastion staff. Here are the pictures. Enjoy!

Wow MHM, very stealthy, very nice. Did you swipe that from The Dark Knights ride when he left the Batmobile unshielded? Cos I can imagine that as his Saber clipped to his utility belt. Excellent finish.
What Blue is that shining through and you are spot on, those windows look amazing. Getting goosebumps.

The blue I got it in is the medium blue. And agreed, maybe a Batman/Jedi Cosplay in the future is needed!

Really sweet Bastion you have there, great looking finish (Justin always delivers!) and an awesome pop on the blade colour.
I hope it serves you long and will into the future.

Regarding Batman there have been some really good designs for Batman themed Sabers in the "ASP Hilt Design" and "Themed Sabers" threads if interested. They would go nicely with your Bastion!

The black version should be in the options tbh. I was thinking that a black bastion would make a sick Sith staff.

You need to email Justin through the Saberforge Customs email address and request black anodizing, though I believe they have currently closed orders in the Custom shop until preorders/incentives are all shipped out.

What confuses me about black anodizing being custom is that weathered is described as "black anodizing, stripped, and weathered". If a weathered saber has to be black anodized before being weathered, why is black anodizing custom and not just a standard option?

Thank you! Me and some friends were talking Batman a few months ago and their favorite Joker was from the Dark Knight, Heath Ledger. I stood by my claim that Nicholson was the better Joker. Unlike them, I've seen both the Keaton Batman film and parts of The Dark Knight, whereas they'd only seen TDK. They had no idea Nicholson even existed, and when they looked up his Joker, they thought the 'makeup was terrible'.

Hello, smart guys, this Joker's skin is supposed to be WHITE! Not like Ledger's Joker, with that lame scar-smile thing and the clown makeup which I personally think isn't all that great. Besides, I feel like Nicholson captured more of Joker's insanity, whereas Ledger's was more sarcastic and less terrifyingly hilarious.

Rant over. Sorry for the off courseness. I love that black Bastion. Looks darn good!
