So my phone camera is pretty terrible, but I took some shots of my Disciple I ordered off of the Etsy site. I grabbed a spear extension for it to see how it handles as a longsword. I like how it feels, though to make it 100% easy in the hands I'd want to take the covertec wheel off if I was dueling. With the extension handle on and a 37" blade, the balance point is pretty much right above the emitter.
Without handle on:  With it attached:  Blade ignited:  Blade ignited in the dark:  I like the indigo color quite a bit and you can feel the quality of the build. It really feels like a substantial piece of weaponry in the hands. Awesome stuff. |

Otherwise it looks rad. I've thought about using the extension like that as well. How about adding two viper claws (1 on either side) of the emitter to act as small metal cross guards? |

Thanks everyone, I was surprised at just how good the spear handle complimented the saber.
Funny you mention adding the viper claws as a guard NeBossa, I was thinking that exact same thing when I looked at it the first time I put it together. Might be a future addition. I'm also looking into possibly adding my own sound board to it, though I'm going to have to look into what would work given the apprentice hilts are a bit smaller. If I can get an NBv2 in it, that might work well. |

NBv2 fits in em, I've been told. I was actually told they fit in just about anything, at the same time... lol.
Pretty indigo... just learned my custom saber with the indigo won't even start for a minimum of another week (8 weeks and counting for originally a 3 week wait... cool.) so you're just fanning my flames of impatience. lol |

Keep in mind, apprentice hilts are available as heroes, so that means they can fit a spark color 2 in there which is significantly larger than the NBv2. |
