Hi Faethien,
Thank you for the kind comments, I hope other people will be inspired to start creating. I am about a third of the way through writing this story about my recovery after a serious injury during battle and how I rebuild my life and saber afterwards. Also I'd like to congratulate you on translating posts for your fellow French speakers recently. I felt I knew what they wanted to know and wanted to help, but my secondary/high school French is limited, so thank you for helping them. Happy writings! |

No need to thank me, your writing is pretty cool, so I should thank you for giving us a good read  As for the translation, please don't try to speak French. It's not that I hate when non native speakers speak it, on the contrary, I do love that! It's just that French people usually do not even work their English at all and it bothers me that we suck so much at other languages than our own, so in a way, I'd like to encourage all of you to keep speaking English so the French MUST speak English and get better at it! Maybe this way we'll stop being the most ridiculous country ever when it comes to speaking other languages :/ Of course, should any of you guys want to learn / practice French, I'd love to be your pen pal and help explain the wonderful motherfucking intricacies of this goddamn horror that is the French language  That's meant to be a pep talk, not sure I nailed it though ...

I wouldn't worry about your vocabulary level, it is most impressive. I will be celebrating FORTY years on the 17th Dec, to get to this level and I am still learning things! I am glad you have enjoyed my "journey" so far and I hope to get the story finished and approved by certain people, so I may use it for a project I've planned. I will then be able to post the rest of the story. Keep on writing and it will get better the more you do! For Tyeth |

Oh this is nice, I sort of invented a Jedi Character who was hiding form the Empire since the purge and has finally been cornered by Vader for a little, very rough, guerilla, short I shot this weekend as my final for my intro to film class. I may have to flesh that character out more and get in on this.
Oh and to be frank Faethien if you did not tell us you were not a native English speaker, most of us would never know. |
