After pretty much forever, I finally installed my Gladius. Then I had a speaker issue that ended with the speaker being basically destroyed, and had to order another - more waiting...

They arrived though, and I wasted no time. :) Goth 3D chassis, NBV4, 18650, RCP, custom colour cyan LED, cool SWTOR font from SoundFont.com...

I made a quick "See if it explodes" vid:


I also grabbed a few glam shots. I'll just post a few for now:

That is one classy looking saber. I am loving that custom cyan LED ;)
Works so well with the Stingray wrap. Hopefully you have more projects in the pipeline.

I'm really liking how this thing is now. The empty was gorgeous, but the added heft and solid feel of it installed really seals it. :cheer: Yes - bronze stingray all day long. :P

I certainly do have other projects in the works...MPP is nearly complete. ;)

I'm glad you were finally able to get it done, bro. It looks and sounds great.

I've had speaker issues crop up at the last minute like that, it always sucks.

I had zero training...lol I use that spot, because it has a dimmer, and when I turn it off completely, it's just daylight. :P

Edon: I didn't own a cyan saber, but everyone raved about that colour. This hilt fit it perfectly in my alleged mind. :P

The bronze stingray wrap was pretty much impossible not to get, once I saw it. too. :silly:

I finally made a decent video too!

My apologies for this project taking so long - real life got in the way.

As I stated before, this hilt was beautiful as an empty (SF's version is even better, since they did away with that massive monstrosity of a red thing smack dab in the middle of the saber), but it feels so perfectly complete and "solid" now that it's installed.
